FYI...

When you contact the Vonage Rebate Center they will tell you the hold up or problem is due to Vonage not them. I read on this forum that Vonage does not handel their rebates... They offered them so I think they should honor them.

Vonage should learn from what happened to CompUSA recently:

http://www.ftc.gov/opa/2005/03/compusa.htm

The FTC came down on them for their handling of rebates. I think if enough of us complain to the FTC they will respond. Linksys sold over 1M of their devices. Think about all the rebates that the need to pay. I am sure the delay is intentional and Vonage doesn't care.

Is there someone on this forum that can address our rebate problems? If someone from Vonage provide me with an email address I can send them a complete copy of what I sent. My rebate clearly says the timeline in which I should receive my rebate offer. That time has since long past.

I sent my rebate request in almost 3 months ago and have not hear a word. Any idea how long this is supposed to take? Has this happened to anyone?

ToddlerTN

You say that you are a rebate pro, and that you got terrific deals on a TV and a HD.

You also said that you actually make money on the deals.

Please explain, I wanna be rich, like you!

Do you take off the UPC label and resell the items on ebay?

Just as an update for anyone denied a rebate, after discovering that my rebate, too, was not processed because I did not "include the Vonage account number," I sent an email to Vonage explaining that there was no place on the rebate form for that information, but that I filled out everything that was requested. I then included the account number, as well as the name and address that was on the original request. They replied with a note saying that the information had been updated, the rebate was approved, and that a check would be arriving in four to six weeks. A check arrived about two weeks later.

I signed up for service on Jan 23. I did not realize that you had to be a subscriber for 90 business days before they would send out the rebate money. About a week before my 90 (business) days were up I received a post card saying that I did not send in correct mac address. I had copies of everything to verify that I did in fact send in the correct information. I called Vonage CS. Was on hold for 5 min and got someone that was willing to help. I explained my situation and they offered to credit my account $50 or send out a check. I opted for the check. I received it about a week after I called Vonage. I wish it would have worked like advertised, but can't complain too much.
