I found the perfect message waiting light to use with my phones (Uniden) and Vonage.
For any of you interested - I read an earlier post saying people were looking for a solution - you can get surplus AT&T message waiting lights (normally $35) for $5 here: http://www.sciplus.com/

Mine arrived today and works like a charm...

I would like to purchase a really loud alarm/horn like the ones used on home security systems to notify me if I have a voice mail message waiting. Has anyone seen these around?

Too bad you can't buy just one. Mininum order is $10 plus $5.95 shipping. In fact buying two isn't enough to make the minimum. Someone needs to buy a dozen and sell them on e-bay.

Wow, believe it or not, I grew up in this place's neighborhood in Chicago. What a great place. I still have some of the crazy things I bought there when I was a kid. Maybe I can find something else crazy to buy to justify the shipping...

Thanks!

Those message waiting lamps have been reduced to $1.50 and are now a "must go" item

www.sciplus.com

item # 29643

As alluded to previously, the harded part is finding other crap to buy to get the order up to $10.00.

Thanks for the great tip. I had been looking for one of these but hadn't gotten around to getting one. I just bought seven of them to get me over the $10 mark. Seven at this price are cheaper than one anywhere else, and they will make great Christmas gifts to co-workers in my office to use on the office phone system.
