My tentative transfer date was yesterday, on 04/01/05 and nothing happened.I'm waiting since 01/10/05. I knew this will happen, sice there was no change in the transfer status,on the web site. Now they blame Verizon, that they are holding up the process, and there will be notification when there is a final set date. Unbelivable!!!!! Of course,Verizon knows nothing of the hold up,or they say so. I'm guessing there is the third party to blame.Right. I'm writing a complaint to FCC next week, lost my patience.Who are they kidding??? Maybe i will find another phone company, who can handle their customers. |

My LOA was sent on Feb 11, 2005. Today I filled my complaint with the Texas PUC. Not to mention that The State of Texas is none to happy with these people. Perhaps it will help clarify this to completion. Please respond if your date is actual. |

Well I'm speechless... I just returned from lunch to find 2 emails from Vonage telling me my LNP has been completed. I called home to check and sure enough, it rang to my Vonage phone.
Here's what my LNP looked like:
January 28, 2005 Awaiting Letter of Authorization January 31, 2005 Letter of Authorization (LOA) Received January 31, 2005 Transfer Sent to Carrier April 6, 2005 Carrier Approved Transfer April 6, 2005 Completed LNP Transfer
Apart from the fact that it took over 2 months to complete, I'm really mostly disturbed by the fact that there was very little actual information given to me during that time. At the very least, it might be helpful for Vonage to include things like "requested update status to the carrier" when the executive reponse team does so. If nothing else, at least it would make people feel like something is happening instead of just playing a waiting game.
At any rate, I'm just happy this completed before I move Thanks to everyone on here who helped during the past 2 months... and good luck to those still waiting for their transfers to go through. |

I called Vonage today morning, to my surprise i got the customer service personal with a minute. I asked what is happening with my LNP and the guy said that the tentative transfer date set for 04/28/05. I faxed my LOA on 03/18/05. Now i have to wait 15 more days. |
