Hi,
I dont know if my router or line needs activation. I sign for Vonage service early this month and i just receive a week ago my router. Until now i just got time to install my router, which aparently its working (at least for internet access)... however, a friend just told me about activation, and he point me to vonage.com website where it says "Retail activation".
I'm seeing 2 options there, and as i bought directly from Vonage i'm choosing the "Add a line to an existing Vonage account." option.
As i'm not able to see information about my line status on the router admin, i dont know if the service its already active or if i need to do something else. Trying to follow the steps during the activation, it says ERROR when i write my WAN Mac address.
Do can someone please help me on this. I'm lost and i'm still not able to make a phone call from my line

Your account is active. You need to just install it. Your problem maybe your ISP. Read around the forums, you are not alone. |

Thanks for your answer dconnor,
Is that normal tht i dont see any information when i click on the status tab on my router admin panel or under the Voice tab where it says: "Please contact your service provider for further information."

Yes, but as you know, you have issues with your isp which "might" be preventing you from receiving dial tone. |
