Vonage Outage

Just great in N.E. Ohio.
No outtages for a month.
Adelphia with hills and all sorts of cell phone towers.

Here's my question du jour - is there any way for Joe subscriber (or, in my case, Jeaux subscriber) to know the actual root cause of today's problems? I've been searching for a while and it appears that Vonage tends to downplay any outages, but this one seems to be pretty widespread. This is my first problematic day since firing SBC completely in December and both my home and business lines are tied to Vonage.

While it's interesting to know - would knowing really help the situation ?

What would be better would be an "estimated time to repair."

Working every time now. All outgoing calls are connecting. I agree, knowing when the projected time the system will be working again would be great. Everyone should remember to keep a cell phone close! That is how I conducted my biz today.

I see most people use a cell verses landline or digital. Especially those that travel.
