Post subject: question about dial tone on pap2
i would like to know if this happens to anyone else.
i have a pap2 and when i pick up the phone i hear 10 quick tones before the dial tone is ready for me to dial, is this normal? when i had my motorola ata it semmed that i automatically got the dialtone right away.

I don't have that happening on my Pap2, but are you sure it's not just the stutter tone notifying you that you have voice mail?

yeah i just checked and i actually have voicemail disabled. but it does seem to be a stuttertone and then the real tone.
