Post subject: Vonage and MultiTech
Did we ever get an answer on the ability to use MultiTech with
Vonage
?
I currenlty have an Avaya PBX and would like to use the MultiTech to convert the
Vonage
(SIP I believe) to PRI since the IP Office supports H.323 but not SIP.

I think an Epygi T1/E1 gateway might work for you!
Feel free to contact to discuss.

Multitech does support SIP and H323, so I don't think you will have a problem doing the convertion. However I prefer the Vegastream carrier grade gateways as they support H323 and SIP. They have a lot more features and far better dial plan. You can set the Vegastream gateways up to automaticaly switch calls to PSTN if there is not enough bandwidth on your ADSL line.
Also Vegastream have the entire range from 4 x E1 right down to a little 1 port FXS gateway.
www.vegastream.com
for product specs.
Also, just for you geeks out there that like technology an value for money. Check out
www.ayctelecom.co.uk
for a nice little sip based IP PBX 25 user system at £595.. and it does everything.. well except your ironing.
