You're right. It didn't work. It said "Update Failed" in red letters. I've tried everything - even sticking the WRT54GP2 on a routable Internet address with no firewalling. The voice service just doesn't get initialised, and after the NTP exchange, no further contact is established by the WRT54GP2.

We had a power failure in our building sometime between when the box was working and when it stopped doing voice. Maybe that can have corrupted something?

Not sure if this helps, my Firmware Version is 1.30.01. I was also looking for an update, but it appears this may be the latest.
