Yes it will work! Your upload and download speeds, latency and other factors will determine how well it works. |

How very interesting. The Vonage help knowledge base says it's OK! to use your service out of country, but in fine print that will take a week of study for a lawyer, the terms of service say you can't do it. A bit conflicting info, yes.
So, even Vonage is not free from babel. Talking out of both sides of their mouths. I'm disappointed. |

Whether it is illegal depends on what country you're in and whether they have prohibited Voip or require Voip providers to be registered/licensed.
What Vonage says in their terms of service is that they won't be responsible if you end up in chains for using it outside the US and that they aren't going to support you if you have problems.
However, it is not a violation of the terms of service to use it outside the US or Canada. If you plan to use it in a foreign country you need to check with the laws there to see if it is legal. |

I am sure they reserve this right in the event that some foreign entity puts pressure on them not to provide service in that territory. The knowledge base and the terms of service aren't necessarily at odds, Vonage is not offering international service, but they aren't specifically prohibiting that use. |
