I too have wanted a double-click way to activate/deactivate call forwarding. I have been working on one in Python, but would rather use scerruti's Firefox extension if that can be made to work. Please also let me know if/when you make something like this, either in Java or as a Firefox extension. Also, if you would be willing to share the source code, I could probably get my Python version working.

The Firefox extension is not relevant to this problem as it does not interact with the dashboard. PM me your email address and I will send you the Java source for the activity download tool that does log into the dashboard.
