Post subject: My Series2 DirecTiVo is working over vonage
I recently followed these instructions and my DirecTiVo is working over
Vonage
. Here's the
link
. In order to get this to work reliably, I had to force the modem into a maximum 19.2kbits/sec. I was able to download the 3.1.1b upgrade for my HDVR2 using
Vonage
(it took 4 hours!).
Some of the details of my experience are in the thread.

Well I've tried the ",#019" in the call prefix as well as the "*99" in the call waiting prefix. I still can't get it to work.
I'm trying to figure out why it seems to work for some and not for others. For those that have it working, what model number ATA do you have?
Follow-up: I'm using the DSR7000 and was trying the DSR6000 fix. Guess I'll need to try the external modem hack.
