Anonymous call rejection

BTW, you said " they must've done something to it today, because it has blocked for me more calls than it ever has before."

Since Vonage doesn't offer ACR, how are your calls being blocked?

Reread this thread, particularly the last few pages. Vonage does have ACR.

Technically they don't. If you're beta testing ACR, bully for you. That doesn't apply to (nor help) 99.9% of the Vonage subscriber base, though.

You're trying to split hairs. Technically they do have ACR. They just don't have it activated for everyone.

For christ sakes just say vonage does not OFFER acr as one of it's services and be done with it. That sounds like an argument one of the vonage suits would make "Technically we do have acr, we just don't offer it to 99.99% of the people.

I don't understand why you're so defensive about this. People have been asking for ACR for at least a year now. I think it's great that you're beta testing it, but that fact doesn't mean it's a feature that Vonage offers yet. Vonage doesn't advertise ACR on their website and, in fact, if you ask a CSR about it they tell you it's not available. OK, fine...you want to say Vonage technically has ACR. Great. Until they actually offer it to their subscriber base at large and advertise it as being available, the fact that they have it doesn't really help anyone outside of a small group who apparently are beta testing or have cajoled some tech into activating it on their ATA.

Who really cares anyway? The service doesn't work as it should; unknown/out of area calls still come in.

Just because something is being beta tested doesn't mean that it is, or will be, available later so you really shouldn't be saying they have it until they have worked out all the kinks and are offering it to all their subscribers.

The reason I posted was because it's YOU getting your diaper twisted defending vonage and their supposed acr. Just accept the fact that they don't offer it and quit trying to defend them.
