Is there any advantage of getting the RT31P2 over the PAP2 other than getting a router built in???? I dont really need another router, plus I think that the PAP2 is smaller-which would make it fit better in my structured media enclosure.

The PAP2 has been a great work horse for me. I rarely have it plugged in at home since I travel so much. I must have set it up 200+ times since I set it at client sites and hotels first thing when I get there. It has been very forgiving about being put on top of hot routers all day long, and sitting in sub-zero weather in my car.

If you already have a router, grab the PAP2.

Regards,

I've been using the PAP2 since early January with very good results. I replaced my Motorola adapter which had begun exhibiting problems allowing DTMF (touch tone) to be transmitted.

I've had no issues whatsoever with the audio quality.

I like the portability of the PAP2 compared with the RT31P2.

how much of a pain is it to "trade in" the rt32 for the pap2 with vonage?

will they do that or do i just need to buy a pap2 outright?

vonage doesn't offer the pap2. if you want one, you'll have to buy one from a store.

a good idea would be to look where they're sold, such as major electronics outlets (circuit city, compUSA, bestbuy, etc)
