I have been using Vonage since January 2004. I transferred my existing number, and I didn't want to lose it. It took 10 months to finally get my number transferred (while I was paying 2 phone bills). I did get a credit from Vonage for that time, and I did something towards the end that helped A LOT. Get the FCC involved, read the thread below for my story.
