Voicemail Upgrade

Vonage has upgraded your Voicemail.

What You Need To Do Now

1. You will need to record a new voicemail greeting and complete a new setup procedure for each voicemail box. When you dial into your voicemail, an auto attendant will guide you through the steps required to complete the setup. At any time in the process you will also be able to press zero to access automated help. You can still access your voicemail account by dialing *123 from your phone, calling your phone number and then pressing * at the greeting, by dialing one of our access numbers, or from your web account.

2. Messages received prior to the upgrade today will no longer be accessible via the web site, but can still be accessed by pressing *777 or by dialing 1 (866) 740-2025, then enter your telephone number (1-(xxx) xxx-xxxx) and pin at the prompt. Please note that you must dial 1, then the area code and number to access you mailbox. After November 8, 2003, messages received before the upgrade will no longer be accessible.

None of your other account features will be affected by this upgrade. For additional questions, please check our website at www.vonage.com or contact Customer Care at 1-VONAGE-HELP, or email customerresponse@vonage.com.

Seems like users have seen a lot of voice mail upgrades....

Anyone have any idea why so many and if they will continue?

Are people still having voicemail troubles?

Ok I am all for progress, but our voice mail has been reset twice in two days. It's getting outrageous. I'm getting tired of redoing our voice mail message.

Who thinks "upgrade" is a codeword for "our voicemail software is really buggy, and to fix it, we need to delete everyone's outgoing message"?
