I have Brighthouse Networks and last month my bill was $174 cable/Internet/Voip I dropped Voip for Vonage and my bill this month is $97. After adding the $27 for Vonage I can clearly see a $50 saving.

WOW is all I can say.

My Bill was $47 vs $27. So I saved $20 a month, have good service and some cool features to boot.

Brighthouse was charging you $77/month for Voip? That seems high. Keep in mind that most utility providers charge their monthly access fees in advance, so your bill may be lower due to a partial month credit, based on when your billing cycle starts and when you cancelled your Voip service with them. Your regular monthly bill may be higher than $97. But if it is, good for you and now everyone knows not to go with Brighthouse Voip.

Even with Vonage's unlimited minutes plan *and* their softphone, I'm easily saving $20+/month compared to my old SBC account. All the features I used to pay SBC extra for (plus some other great stuff like voicemail via email) are bundled into the basic Vonage service.

Pretty cool!

The bill doesn't seems right to me also but I had a $27 credit for partial month of Voip on my $97 bill

I am going to call tomorrow and find out why I have been charge $77 for Voip that was suppose to be $39.95+tax. If I have been charge $77 then they owe me for at least 2 more months of credit.
