Has anyone ever had problems with the Recall button mines never works and i always find myself having quickly press and let go the telephones hang up button to take advantage of call tranfer, call waiting and 3 way calling.
customer support is saying it must be a problem with my phone but all the phones that ive tried have the outcome not working and have to use the hang up button does anyone know how i can get this to work ?

i have 2 phones on one the recall button works fine and 3 way calling is easy; the other one, for some reason the recall button doesnt work so cant use 3 way calling. on my corded phone, the switch hook works fine.
it seems the recall button on some phones is a bit dodgy.
I had the same problem with a BT cordless phone. According to the manual some 'older exchanges' need a longer tone duration for the recall button than the default. The manual gave instructions on how to set the handset to use the longer tone by tapping in some weird key combination. Tried that and bingo... it now works fine.
Worth trying to find out if your phone has the option of modifying this setting...
i believe there was an issue with some phones but i understand problem has been solved. something to do with timing differences between us and uk phones. all features using recall button should now work
