Calller ID?

When I place a call using my Vonage VoIP Telephone why can't the other party [Bell subscriber that has Caller ID service] see my Name associated with my Vonage number? When the same party calls me I can see his Name and Phone number.

unfortunately, the name asociated with the number is "Vonage Holdings" so they have name disabled so your friends don't get confused when you call them..

maybe one day they will find a way to change this, but as of yet, it acts like a cell phone and displays 'unknown caller'

With Vonage like a cell phone... you don't own the phone number. Hence there is no name associated with the #.
