I was wondering if anyone can help me out. I just been using Vonage for about a week now and I noticed that when I dial a number, it dials someone completely different or I get a busy signal or it says that the number is invalid. Does anyone else have this problem? |

If your Vonage number is in a different area code from where you live, that could explain it. Try dialling the number with the area code (e.g. 780-555-1234 instead of just 555-1234) and see if it connects correctly. |

Try dialing using 11 digits, like 1-555-555-1212, if that doesn't help try hooking up a different phone an see if that helps. If not, you may need a new phone adapter (call Vonage). |

I had this same problem and it turned out the phone I had hooked up to Vonage was bad, not within tolerances, or something like that. I put a different phone on there and consistently dial out with no problems now.
Just waiting for the phone number transfer so I can start getting INCOMING calls now |

Me too. It was the phone that went bad. Try replacing yours. |
