hey, I just today for the first time tried to use #5, took me a while to figure it out..
with the RT31P2 you have to hang up after your 'busy' call and then pick up again and dial #5, you will hear a short tone then back to reglar dial tone, if you dont' have the ear piece to your ear right away as you hit the 5 you won't hear the tone.. (kinda hard when your keypad is on your reciever)
anyways, after som etime, my phoen rang, and there was no number displayed, and when answered there was nothing there, no recording, no beeps, no ringing as it calls the ppl back.. so I had to hang up and then dial them normally..
is this normal for the RT31P2? thatall you get it the ring and then you have to call them back normally? or is it because I had originally dialed my friend with only 7 digits, not 10 or 11?
I noticed on Vonage's site it lists a different procedure for using #5 witha RT31P2 then any of the other ATA's.. but it doesn't mention that you have to hang up and call back..
but man was it ever nice to use it , I thought about it after I had called 5 times and got a busy signal.. |
