I voted "Don't Know" because I only use the phone maybe twice a day for local calls and once a Saturday or Sunday to make a 2 hour call to Canada. Vonage has worked extremely well for me. But there could be outages all night long and I would never know it. |

I can't be the only one who thinks those are ridiculous choices. I can just imagine the angst some of you had trying to choose between 97%, 98% or 99%. |

I calculated my reliability based on 5 months of sercvice, and a known four hour outage. That comes out to 99.9998% for me.
The three 9's by the way are for the switch only. Subscriber end mile doesn't count in that. |

I too have been having a difficult time calculating the numbers. Are we rounding up? What if part of it was the ISP's fault? aargh....
Overall Vonage has been great. A couple of outages here and there but nothing out of the norm for a Voip service that requires electricity and constant internet access. When you look at all the variables that have to be in place fro Vonage to work properly, we should all be fortunate to have such a wonderful service available to us. Especially when most of the things are not under Vonage's control. |
