Hello!
OK, I have Comcast Broadband going directly into my Lynksys RT31P2 Router. All lights are green on the router (Power, Ethernet, Phone, Internet). I have no dial tone at all. When I go to the Router Setup Page under 'Status' it says 'Registration Status: 847-XXX-XXXX 1847XXXXXXX Online'.
Can anyone give me some insight as to why I have no dial tone on any phone?
I am a brand new subscriber and had the service up briefly two nigths a go but turned off because my SBC Local phone was still connected. |

Internet works.....I have a Motorola SurfBoard SB5100.
This is getting extremely frustrating... |

i completly unpluged all power to both cable modem and my Broadband Phone router. I powered up Broadband Modem...then Router. I waited a couple more minutes, then i plugged in my phone cord into the router. |
