Is it me or does it seem that the customer service/tech support number is always busy of late. I've been calling the direct number just to find out whether the call goes through without wading through their "voice menus".

I have the same observation. I rarely get through, and usually get frustrated and hang up before speaking with anyone.

If Vonage expects to remain a viable phone service, I suggest they address this issue quickly. My patience is worn out trying to speak to someone. My next step is to simply change to a reputable phone company that treats customers like the source of their revenue.

I am telling you that since this upgrade that was done in the middle of the day, whoever thought that one up should be fired, the CS number has been busy.
I think that Vonage is having growing pains and does not have the infrastructure to handle all the new subscribers. My system has gone down at least 4 times since the "upgrade" in the middle of conversations.
If this is an indicator of how Vonage will handle outages, I am concerned - big time!

I bet they are signing up customers so fast (15,000/week), they can't keep up with hiring and training customer service & tech support people.

If they hired one employee for every 500 customers, they'd have to hire 30 people a week.

i usually call during non business hrs as then everyone is sleeping like 3am. I get right through.
