Right now Vonage customer service seems to be "offline". Both the toll-free number and the direct dail remains busy (toll free busy tone after entering options 2-5-1-2-1.
Wait finally got through, now I'll be on hold again for another hour and forty minutes like last week. Will they pay my cell phone bill? Don't think so.
I have a technical question this time. Anyone know what it means if the Linksys router reports:
Registration Status: 603-xxx-xxxx 1603xxxxxxx Online Call1 Status: Invalid Call2 Status: Idle
Phone 1 light is on, but no dial tone. And yes, did all the rebooting of everything and my Internet connection works fine.
Any suggestions. Thanks |

The moment you plug the line back in to port 1, it turns to invalid status again. In the mean time my cell battery just died after another 35 mins to the useless customer service. That was try number 5 for the day. My line's been dead all day and there is no way to get hold of these people. Any ideas on that? |

Have you tried a different phone? and is this plugging into a phone or your house wiring? If one of my phone's in my house are offhook my line status says invalid. |

Luckily this forum is here......
Today I was trying my number during the day to see if everything was working after my LNP yesterday and I kept getting my voice mail. Got home and had no dial tone. Checked the router and saw the "invalid" for line 1. As I'm going through the prompts with cust svc on a cell, I browse this forum and do a search for "invalid" and find this topic.
Turns out, one of my phones was off-hook. Not sure how it happened as it was in the charger, but that was it. I hung up the call with cust svc right after that. |
