1 m service costs 100 dollars
i wount mind paying it, but will it work, because the charge for upgrading speed, and then if it doesnt work they charge for decreasing, and its not cheap

The reason I upped mine to 1M was because of poor vonage service. It appears to have fixed my problem. I used to have a wireless link to telmex and that provider told me last week that he was in contact with telmex because he was not getting the service he was paying for( particularly upload). They ran a bunch of tests for him and told him the problem was in Hermosillo and they were working on it. Again, when you monitor the general quality of service, you see it drop to snail pace for extended periods of time. |

Does this last case in NC give any of these providers immediate warning? If not they sure are greedy and maybe the FCC should increase these fines beyond a measly $12,000.00 . I cannot wait to hear some of the bad ISP's doing this and stating "we didnt know"...lol. It seems the FCC needs to make this known what the consequences will be if any provider does this in a big way. This just stinks and proves some ISP's block more than just Vonage. |

I just had these problems yesterday with a foreign connection. It was completely resolved by logging into my vonage control panel and setting the bandwidth saver to the lowest (bandwidth) setting.
Try this for for your foreign connections...remember dsl (etc) is async. Fast coming to you but much slower going out. |

that's only half the results, but I'd be surprised if you could do any voip with that connection. |
