Anyone else have this problem?
I go to the dashboard, voicemail, voicemail settings, voicemail email notifications, replace the email I initially set up to my new mail address and press "save". It notifies me that it may take "additional time" to save it.
The next day, go back to the voicemail email notifications and the email is the one I changed it to but my notifications are still going to my original email address.
I have tried leaving it blank, saving, then entering the new one and still nothing. No matter how long I wait or what it notes online...it still will only send those notifications to the one I initially set up.
Sure seems like a bug in the system. I sent a note to email CS and its been a month or so without a response. I know thats typical.
Any suggestions out there or should I just wait on hold for an hour to get this resolved? |

I get the confirmations...only that I get them in the same email account that I set up initially. So it is set up correctly on the notification end. I just cannot change the email address to something else. Did you test it by changing your email to a different one? |

Am I the only one who has this problem? Could it be hardware related in any way? |

You're not the only one - same thing happens to me. I turned on email notifications without attachments initially. Everything worked well. Then I decided to try notifications with attachments. After a few weeks, I decided I did not want attachments anymore and now I cannot change it back. I make the change successfully on the website, but I continue to get the email notifications with attachments. I even went so far as to shut off email notification all together - yet I still get email notifications (with attachments). I emailed support about the problem - but got no response. |

Thank you jfullam! At least I know I am not the only one with this problem. I would bet that if more people tried to change their email preferences as we described...it would get much more attention from Vonage reps.
Any reps have any workarounds for this problem? |

It appears that this was an issue back in March 2005. But it is now December, and it is the SAME for me at present.
I called customer support, they said it was taken care of last week, for everyone, I guess..
Still not working as of today! |

I changed the email address to another address I have, waited overnight, to be sure, and then changed it back to the original one that was not working, and now it is OK!
You might want to try this, if possible! If you don't have another address, I would think anything would work for a night. joeblow@vonage.com |

call tech support and have them reset your voicemail (i think upper level support handles this) , maybe it will work then. i don't think they really answer emails too much so i don't know if you will see results by emailing the problem to Vonage.
