OK, so I was on the computer last night @ 1 AM....
Just for giggles, I picked up the phone and NO DIALTONE. Just curious if anyone else experienced this last night (Friday).
Something to do with the Voice Mail?? |

I think you've noticed one drawback to the ATA.
To me, it happens every time my internet connection goes down (fortunately not too often), or if my router is powered off. When the connection comes back up, the ATA needs to be rebooted. Funny thing is that the ATA even has a IP address, but no dial tone until the reboot. |

I've had the service for many months now and this is actually the first time I ever lost a dial tone:
My Internet service DID Not go down I've got backup power for my router, modem and ATA The dial tone came back in the morning
Kind of strange but I still love my Vonage.

Unfortunatly, not for me. I've powered down the ATA many time, powered down the cable modem, along with the router, and still, all day today, no dial tone. GRRRRR! |
