To be honest - if I added up the features that Vonage was throwing in for free (which I never purchased on my land line) then I guess the savings woulda been $15 to $20. Apples to Apples (hassle free to hassle free) it would have been worth it even for only $5 per month savings. |

You people all make me sick! Pi$$ and moan on a different topic if you wish. If you are not satisfied with the service, attempt to make it better or go away. You have options.

Thanks for what? When there are firm policies oh how Vonage does business maybe then I will thank them. A few so called employees and yep maybe they are, my bet is if their boss knew what they are doing here they would be canned quickly. If what they are doing is ok ...Vonage would have live support on their own web site. Get a clue folks. |

I am so glad for this forum and all who participate in the true spirit of it....to help each other solve our issues and not to crab and complain. I have had the service for a little over a month. There have been some serious issues the past month or so, but in using this forum, I have been able to solve many issues myself. Since this is newer technology, I am not one who is going to complain about the glitches. I know how that goes since I work as a project manager of software development, and believe me, we don't get it perfect every time either. Thanks to everyone for all the info and insights! Joanne |

Canned? For what. Maybe we should leave the board then. So instead of asking me direct and me doing my best out of the kindness of my heart to help the people here so they dont have to wait on hold for an hour we should make you call up?
I look forward to helping the people on this board, we are not giving out any company secrets or anything like that. Just trying to help the CUSTOMERS. |

Man, theres even pissin & moaning on a thread like this?
I do tech support for a major insurance co. and I'm on this forum quite a bit. It's the nature of the job. When it rains, it pours. If I'm here, it's not because I'm swamped & I'm sure thats the case for the Vonage reps here too.
Thanks to them & the others who have contributed their time & knowledge for everyone. I hope I can pass some of it along myself.
And to those of you who do nothing but gripe, thanks for nothing. Get rid of Vonage if it's so bad. Save us all the headaches. |

The Reps that have spent most of their days helping solve the simple as well as the difficult problems that arise here deserve more than just our thanks. The job that they are doing is outstanding, especially when they have to put up with some irate individual who has turned rude and crass.
Here's to ya, a job well done!
Let's not forget Dan Connor. He spends his time day and night running this forum. Without him, there would be many new people with nowhere to go with their Vonage problems. |

OK. I can take my beating when it is well deserved and not yet heh. I like Vonage and the service I get for the price. As far as my above post it stands and I will never take it back period. All I know is this post should have been locked from the beginning and this would not have turned into a flaming thread. It will be made well known at Vonage about the few reps writing in this forum by me for sure. It is bad business and until I see Vonage provide the proper support to its customer base then I will feel the same as I do now. When someone other than Vonage can do better...I will happily leave. It is sad to see this company as a sinking ship when it could be so much better. |
