Anyone having an issue like this? trying to connect to PIG POND / Telstra in Western Australia, and the Motorola ATA keeps flashing 4 flashes... Tried cloning the MAC but that didn't help at all... Any suggestions?
Thanks,

4 blinks means it's try to register with vonage's servers. for some reason it can't...only things I can think of is first, why did you clone a mac address? second, is the moto setup for heart beat signal? I know you can set the linksys to that and it seems to be an autrailian thing. lastly, what happens when you run the test below from a command prompt and has the service worked before? tftp tftp.vonage.net get test |

I understand what 4 blinks means, I was told by Vonage tech support that I needed to clone the MAC... I have a Motorola, not a linksys, and no one has mentioned that the heartbeat can be set up on a MotoroLA. I have since set up a d-link router that has the Big Pond log-in software and tried using the Vonage from behind it... The issue we have here is that every time I use the Vonage, it knowcks the PC offline and then the connection had to be completely re-booted including router / ata / modem..... There has got to be someone who has run into these issues with Big Pond cable, I can not be the only one to ever try to get it to work.
Thanks,
