We've had Vonage for just over one month...for the first month we loved our service. Starting Thursday, March 3 and running up through now we've had problems that have been somewhat frustrating.
It seems we can make calls OK after the service problems on Thursday and Friday, however, we still cannot RECEIVE calls. I've tried three times to get through to tech support...but haven't been successful.
Is anyone else seeing this problem? Any suggestion on how to fix it? |

have no idea what can be causing that, but my 2 cents reset everything, uplug your cable modem, router any other routers for bout 20 secs, plug the cable modem back in let it initiate, then your router(s). Besides that good luck. Put the hold music on speaker phone and start a new hobie while you wait. |

1. Are you in the process of transferring your number? If so, and it is not completed, then you should still have regular landline.
2. If Vonage gave you a temporary VIRTUAL number, that's the number they should be calling to contact you on Voip. |

I have been a Vonage user for about 3 weeks now, and I have a similar problem. I would say only about 6 out of 10 calls get thru to me.
We still have a landline account we are waiting for the number to be switched over. But I call my wife all the time on the virtual # and almost every time she has to call me back. I have made 4 calls to tech support now I THINK it finally made it to a level 3 tech. Last night when I got thru to tech support the rep said that he was going to email my problem to the level 3 tech department, I asked him how will I know if anything is being done, he said that I would be cc on the emails but I still havnt gotten anything.
I dont know what to think at this point and I hope that you have better results than me.

Have you tried resetting your adapter? How is your network set up? |
