I am experiencing voice delays and garbled sound. I am at my wits end, I got a new PAP2 adapter, had my ISP (Road Runner)come to my home, put the PAP2 in the DMZ on my router, set the MAC for PAP2 priority in the QoS of the router, nothing makes it better.
My Speed Results
Download 4,537,664 bps
Upload 346,624 bps
QOS 80%
RTT 57 ms
MaxPause 160 ms
What really bothers me is the Vonage test site says I can use up to 4 quality connections on my current ISP connection, I don't think so! Anyone have any ideas on what to do to resolve the voice problems, it was all working great until 2 weeks ago and contacting customer service is near impossible unless you have a phone permantly attached to your ear. |

WRT54GS with 2 machines and the PAP2 device on the backend. The PAP2 is setup in the DMZ and in QosS as the primary device. I plugged the PAP2 directly into the cable modem and had the same quality issue so I don't think it is my equipment. My ISP is Road Runner in the Albany,NY area. |
