FYI - The latest PAP2 firmware that Vonage has in their systems for the PAP2 adapter is 2.0.13e.

You can find the version on your PAP2 adapter by pressing the talk button on your phone, then '****', then enter '150#'

It didn't fix my message waiting notification for voice mail, and like usual they didn't have a change log to tell me the issues it resolves....sorry

You'll need to call into Vonage and talk to a tech to have the "flag" your account so that when you unplug/plug your PAP2 back in and have it download the new firmware.

I just recieved the new firmware. The tech told me that it addresses some of the audio problems they have had with the device.

I have been on hold for 1 hour so far waiting to get my new adapter in place. Is there an easier way to update your MAC address with Vonage. I already have service, this is my second device. Why don't they let us update our MAC address in our account online?

Probably to retain some form of control (not meaning this is a durrogatory manner). If they let everyone update their fw there probably would be an exponential increase in the number of support calls due to the "inexperienced" users who killed their ATA due to improper firmware loading (ie tripping over the power cord while the fw was uploading...a bit extreme yes but I think you see my point).

And probably to make sure they can keep track of (and keep consistent) who has what fw loaded on what device.
