I am new here, and just wanted to Thank everyone for all the advise and tips I have read the past couple days. I fall into the same boat with customer service on this issue, I called yesterday they took my number and said they would call back in 2 hours. I never heard from them!

I have the Linksys RT31P2. This is the second one I am trying. The service worked great for a month, then two days ago the green light failed to lit for the phone port. It blinks every 15 seconds, but never lights solid. I have the DSL Modem into the Linksys and the Linksys into the PC. The internet (router part) works fine. I have power up time and time again and still nothing. I am at a total loss here. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

ok so they're blank. that could mean a few things. here are the general troubleshooting steps for pretty much everything.
even though your servce has worked before, do this from a command prompt:
tftp tftp.vonage.net get test
it should say successful, 5 bytes in 1 second.
next, unplug the device for a few minutes and disconnect the phone lines from it. then plug it back in and give it a few minutes. if the power light starts blinking, wait until it's done before doing anything. a variance of this is to hold the reset button in, power back on still holding the reset button and then let it go after 15 seconds. then wait for a bit again, esp if the power light starts blinking.
another reason this could happen is if Vonage has the wrong "device number" on record for you. this is more likely to happen as it's your second device. you'll have to call them as far as that goes (if you have a different phone) or email them. I got an email reply in about 5 days recently which was surprising. if you still have the first device, you may also want to try those troubleshooting tips with it. you've got nothing to lose and it won't do any harm.

I did the tftp check and it did confirm what you have stated. I will now try both units and see what happens. Thanks!

I tried the power off power on and then the reset on both units and still nothing. I will try the dreaded call to Vonage to see what is going on with the divice number.
