It would be nice if there was some way to download call activity to a .csv or other spreadsheet type format. Cutting and pasting does not work too well with the java pop ups in the activity grid. This should be an easy program ad with most grids. Anyone know of how to get the data for long time keep with the current system? |

I agree. I've been doing the copy/paste deal into Excel and OOo and it's quite the pain. |

I have written an application to generate an Excel spreadsheet by collecting the activity data from the website. You can supply a start and end date, choose placed or received calls (or both). Placed and received calls appear in separate sheets in the workbook. Times and durations are in Excel time formats so you can do math. Caller id information is included for incoming calls. The downsides: 1) It is written in Java. You must have a recent JVM installed to use it. 2) It is a very early release. It still prints CSV information and errors to the console, you can specify an output file path but it hasn't got a file browser yet, and error handling is primitive. If anyone has use for it I can post it on my web site as an executable jar. I can post source later once I get credits in place for a third party library. If anyone would want this as a web service, please let me know. It would be easy to do, but I would have to request donations to cover increased web hosting costs. I am reluctant to ask for money because Vonage could change the dashboard and break my code. Interested? PM or post... Steve |

I love to get a copy Steve. I was thinking about writing some sort of application but I had the same concern as you if Vonage changed the page the applicaiton would not work. I was also looking for some screen scrape freeware some place. Perhaps I can help you maintain the application. I have been cutting and pasting columns but I don't really need the information right now since I am still testing Vonage. Let me know the your web address or you can email me. Jay |
