what the hell?!?! second time in two days?! everyone I helped get signed on to Vonage is calling me asking me why this keeps on happaning. I am going to have to tell them soon to go back to POTS. Voip just isn't for the main stream yet I guess.

That is what it looks like. I have three lines, all down. My customers are down, and the site isn't responding very good.

Add this to getting the busy signal when trying to get to support, this is not looking good.

Calling the numbers gets a fast busy from a landline.

This is occuring a few too many times over the past few weeks.

Having the same problem here in NY! Yesterday is was down around the same time. Can't get in touch with support or access their website. Would be nice to know what the heck is going on. And like most people I have others who I helped sign on with Vonage, where I "praise" the service as being great! Dang... Now they are calling me and I can't get in touch with Vonage.

Any other Voip service providers anyone can recommend?

I've only been w/Vonage for about a month and yes it seems to be down again. Very disappointing.

I try to call our cell phones and the Vonage phone rings several times before my cell phones actually start ringing. I try the same thing w/POTS and it rings right away.

Not sure what's going on, but it is disappointing.

How about this:

Call your Vonage number. Get busy signal. Hang up.

A second or so later, the fall-back number (if set) rings once then disconnects.

Just full of problems recently!

You would imagine they would their support number not on their phone system so when it's down no one can get through. I would love to get in touch with them to find out what the heck is up. Yesterday was ok and over the past couple of days I did noticed some issues but figure with technologies, everything has hiccups but this is getting too much now. Capacity issues or not, they should fix their problems. I can't access the web or get their tech support. Each time you call you get a busy signal after going through the menu... they should have a message that say "If you're having phone problems, most likely we are too and you cannot get in touch with anyone!". Smile

Dead here in Central NJ. RT31P2 Status shows "Can't connect to login server". Phone light came on momentarily but is off again.
