My POTS line just finished transferring at the end of yesterday (3/3). Now this. My wife has already said we're getting rid of it. In the 18 years I've been in Northern Virginia, my POTS line has NEVER been out except once when somebody cut through a line while digging (it wasn't Verizon's fault).

When I call my home phone from work, it rings 3-4 times after a very long pause following dialing. Then it just hangs up. No answer, no rollover to voicemail, nothing.

So now what do we do? Will it take another month to switch back to POTS?

Vonage, I hope you're reading this. You've pissed off a lot of people!

vonage.com still down for me. Wife not happy for sure! Couldn't call home, so I remoted into my network, checked the router and the voice says "cant connect to login server". I refreshed the screen (didn't restart router), and it now says online. I now can call home. Coincidence I would imagine.....

Vonage's issue is the conversion of the digital signal to analog.

It's getting lost from within their t1/t3 signal connections (voice line, not data) That's the reason for the repetitive beeping...I'm certain their digital lines are missing something (they're probably on oc192 or something similar) I'm sure they're restoring connection to their bigger versions of your at home linksys boxes as you read and sift through this forum.
