Just got dial tone outbound. Calling in forward to the Network Availability Number, thankfully.
Message in my login (can login now):
Service Announcements
Customers may be experiencing an issue with receiving inbound calls and placing outbound calls due to a network issue. This problem is also impacting availability of our web site.
Our engineers are aware of the issue and are working to resolve it as quickly as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Tried calling my
Vonage
number from my POTS line; after a long period of dead air reached the message answering system and was able to enter my password, but still no phone light on RT31P2.
Was able to get into Vonage.com, but where is the system status?
Update: Just found the service announcement on the Dashboard

Post subject: The whole ball of wax
While I hate the fact that my phone service is hosed at the moment... It is somehow strangely comforting to know that it's not just me.
Judging from posts here, it would seem that the whole ball of wax has gone to he!! in a handbasket for the time being.
My primary # is in Los Angeles, physically in Phoenix, AZ (yuck) at the moment.
Anybody want to start taking bets on how long it'll be?
