No that is not the case...My previous posting reply to your comment di dnot show up here...
Nobody said that Vonage provided the email lists...That company is randomly spamming.......and working for vonage.......

Come on.......Just think for a sec

There is a company out there spamming to promote Vonage (not a charity smap organization), and Vonage is just ignoring this fact...

Is it really hard to get this......?

Here is a sentence from a well known news source...

"Spammers have seized on this generous payment to start sending Vonage spam, and the company hasn't taken aggressive steps to stop this unwelcome e-mail pollution carrying its name."

http://www.siliconvalley.com/mld/siliconvalley/business/columnists/mike_langberg/5438790.htm

WHY ?

Siliconvalley is just being polite on that sentence .....

Thanks

So you think that Vonage provides their customer list to a third-party and pays them to email you asking you to "switch to Voip" without ever mentioning you'd be switching to Vonage? That's probably the dumbest marketing campaign of all time.

Just because Vonage's address is listed at the bottom doesn't mean it is from Vonage. Vonage would just send you an email directly, and they would certainly use their brand-name in the marketing. That happens all the time with Vonage, which is exactly why they have the "spam-police@vonage.com" account.

A couple years ago, I was a domain admin/Exchange admin for one of the "Big 4" US accounting firms (still work there, but in a better position). That address is actually on a list of "unwanted domains" that do spam. Mesa Media is also associated with EK-Post, and it's more likely that somewhere along the way (not necessarily the Vonage user agreement), you inadvertently accepted an agreement where you authorized the release of your information to third-party agents.

Oh, for Pete's sake....

Then just cancel your service, go away, and shut the **** up.

I'm tired of your ranting. You are going to believe what you want to believe, no matter who tells you otherwise. Just why would Vonage be sending you spam to try to get you to subscribe if you are already a subscriber? Did you ever think of that?

BTW, "spamming" not "spaming", "canceled", not "cancelde", "third party" not "thrid part"

For other browsers, try Google or a Webster's dictionary beside your monitor.
