Interesting scenario indeed.

Well, apparently the transfer happened today! Just called home and my wife says "That was weird. The Vonage phone rang."

No e-mail, no notification on the Dashboard, but apparently the transfer
occurred anyway! Surprised

Funny thing just happened at home this morning. Just after 10 AM I might add. Somebody left a message who does not know my virtual number so it appeared the port took place. However I just called home and it is not working again. It was from a Buffalo area code (716).

Once they cutover, is it instant or does it take time to propagate like a DNS change on the internet?

So since I just submitted my LOA on the 7th of March, I get the impression I'm going to be waiting a while!

Confused

Yes, I realize I'm talking to myself. Called home again today, from work (Kodak, if anyone cares), and the Vonage phone rings. Anyone elses' calls (neighbor, my cell phone (AT&T/Cingular)) all ring to the POTS phone. It's almost like something partially updated.

Still confused, but the transfer is still scheduled for tomorrow.

Yeah mine happened and AFTER it happened, I recieved 3 emails in one day. (in chronological order as they came in)
Email 1
Your port was completed...etc etc.
Email 2
Your transfer scheduled for 3/15/05
Email 3
We are looking into it.. blah blah blah... and will get back to you with info as soon as we can. Please be patient... (LMAO... right)

Now is it just me, or did they send these in the completely wrong order? Rolling Eyes Figures. At least my number is finally here.
