Here is my setup: terayon Cable modem hooked to my Linksys WRT54G then I'm wired to two computers and my new Linksys PAP2 device. Can't get the thing to work. Please help. My networking skills are very minimal so speak layman's terms when possible. I did do all the troubleshooting suggested on the help tab at Vonage.com like powering down etc. no luck. I also read through some threads here and tried to ping Vonage using the following at a command prompt tftp tftp.vonage.net get test and it was successful. I just get no dial tone. What gives? Is it a setting in the configuration of my router? |

just for kicks, hook the pap2 directly to the cable modem and see if it works. |

Did you setup the pap2 to have a static ip?
Did you port forward the correct ports to the ip given to the pap2? |

I think I need to do this, as I got a couple "IP" conflicts..forget the error, but something like 2 pieces of hardware using the same IP...how would I go about doing this? |
