I have been with Vonage for a Month. My router has not been working for last 5 days and no help for Vonage tech support or customer care.
My problem is as follows:
The power light on router keeps flashing. I have reset it, recycled the power numerous times. My Internet won't work thru my router but if it’s direct connected to my PC, it work fine.
Any suggestions to cure this issue will be greatly appreciated.
My phone is off for past 6 days. I have tried to contact Tech support for 6 times for an average of 60+ minutes on my cell, I have yet to talk to live person. |

Is there way to get to Vanage tech support faster??
I have been trying to get in touch with them for 6 days. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. |

I'm afraid you've just discovered the weakest part of Vonage's offering...customer service. |

Several people have reported that calling between 1am and 6am gets them through immediately. Forget email support. |

I think I remember reading here once that a firmware update can also be unsuccessful if you're doing the crimped line 2 trick and you don't take it out before rebooting. (Pls correct me if I'm wrong on this).
As a general practice, just to make sure, I always take out the crimped rj11 before I get ready to turn off or reboot the P2, and i don't put it back in until about 5 mins after unit is rebooted. |
