Is it possible you are using the original version, the first one I posted? That version could not dial yyy-zzzz. The new version should show the number to be dialed on the pop-up menu, the number displayed should be of the format 1xxxyyyzzzz.

Here is the screenshot:


I have selected a number yyy-zzzz and the menu shows Click2Call "1xxxyyyzzzz".

If you need to get the new version, try uninstalling the old version and then installing the new version. I didn't update the version number and I have not checked into how the automatic update feature works yet. (Next version, I promise).

PS. Yeah, that's my phone number in the screenshot, don't call me I am not home tonight. Very Happy

No, this works using Vonage's Click2Call service with your standard Vonage line. You can also download Vonage's application and dial numbers from any program. There is also, I understand, an Outlook plugin.

Vonage will dial your number and when you pick up the phone they will connect you to the party you asked to call.

i keep on getting authentication failed errors. I entered my username and passwork that I use to login to the dashboard

I know i tried both. Even when I have Vonage reset my password and I use the one they sent me I get the authentication error as well.

It is possible that I am somehow corrupting your username or password when I send it across the net. Would you try it manually and see if it works?

I have trouble with that sometimes myself. It always seems to work eventually, though.
