Entire Exchange is Busy

Here is a new one! I was getting complaints that peole could not call in to me. So I got on the old Baby Bell line and tied to call my Vonage line.

All circuts busy.

Got a hold of a tech at 'baby bell' they determineed that the entire exchange was busy!

Tried to call a friend/vonage down the steet. Same exchange.

Sure enough all circuts busy.

Is this a Vonage issue?????

I just called my Vonage line from work. It rings, but when the voicemail should pick up, I get a busy signal. ANGRY!!!!!!!!! Evil or Very Mad

Same here... calls to my phone get dumped at 37seconds

Calls to the VM phone # get a recorded "this phone # is no longer in service or has changes area codes"

Calls out just give fast busy

I even got a this phone # does not exist for Vonage help the first time I tried to call them.

I just spoke to Vonage (after a 22min wait). They said it is a voicemail problem and they are aware of it. Should be fixed soon.

I also asked them if Vonage is doing anything about extended hold times for customer service. The guy told me he was hired 1 month ago in an effort to get more people in customer service and that there is currently another group undergoing training.

Finally, I asked him if he knows if the officers of Vonage monitor this board because there are alot of unhappy people. He said they do and that they are currently switching systems (for whatever that is worth) to increase reliability. So keep you problems posted here and hopefully something will come of it.

If Vonage is at 50k subscribers and adding 2k subscribers per week then I'd expect it to get worse before it gets better. I hope I'm wrong though. [/i]
