I am very confused with my situation:
when I turn on my brand new linksys rt31p2 the POWER light are always blinking. I cant connect to the linksys console 192.168.15.1 even I could ping with a PC with a Static IP address 192.168.15.2.
I connect others computer to the linksys i can connect to the internet without problems.
and of course no dial tone.
Can anybody help me with this situation?

it's downloading a firmware update. or it's tried and failed and somehow got fried. did you ever unplug it or reset it when it was blinking?

what do you mean you have it on your computer? obviously you can't update it yourself, so...
anyway, my guess still stands. vonage might be able to reinitiate a firmware update if you call them.
