I had the same prob i did a reset and i was able to log in with blank/admin but now my phone is dead

Anything you've customized in the router settings will be reset to defaults, but your router will not lose its provisioning with Vonage.

dont mean to question your knowledge, but are you positive on that? so if I reset the router, and plug it back in , my phone should still work right?

I wouldn't do it unless you really dont mind takeing the risk, I just did a factory reset not an hour ago and the whole router is hosed, It cant connect to the internet anymore and my phones are dead, I had to plug in my old router just to get online.

you should try, shutting everything down........turn comp off.....unplug power from Vonage router..... wait few seconds, plug it back in.....you should see the phone light go on even w/o turning computer on...if not, try your original CD and see what happens

LOL ok I went to go look for the CD that came with the RT31P2, wasnt able to find it but I tryed the phone again and its working.

I really am not sure what happoned, I mean really I have been checking it for the last hour off and on again and it like just now started working again. No idea what happoned or why.

Yep I'm positive, I've done it a few times myself. You won't lose the provisioning from Vonage, but you'll have to reconfigure any settings you customized yourself.
