This isn't really a problem just a question.... I've noticed when I make a call I will hear the phone ring, and then the person on the other end will pickup and I'll usually either hear "lo?" or "silence.. Helloooooooooo?"... After some testing and calling the phone system at work and hearing "alling blahblah Internet Solutions" when it should have been "Thank-You for calling..." I understand what is going on.
Why is there like a second delay in connecting the call? This doesn't seem to happen for INCOMING calls. Any idea.. and anyway to get around it? |

same here, though I haven't noticed any other posts or solutions about it. |

It only happens to me when my wife calls me at work. We use an Avaya phone system. Not really an issue for me but it should be noted. |

I get the same issue. I've just kinda gotten used to it, as you said...not a huge problem. |
