When I first went to Voip with Time Warner last summer, it only took them 10 working days. And that was only because my number was shuffled during a changeover of their database. It would have been sooner, except no one in my family made me aware that my number wasn't working....

In the meantime, I signed up with AT&T CallVantage on Feb 18, 2005 with a transfer completion date scheduled on Feb 27.
Last one to transfer is a rotten egg.

now that I am reading further into this board, I'm just a beginner considering some of these other horror stories. I wonder if any of this stuff has reached The Chronicles of George website for crappy customer service. This is particularly frustrating to me considering that I have weekly/monthly interaction with SBC/TimeWarner-Aol/Sprint for all of my call centers telco support. My impression of the LNP department is that they have just not setup a good relationship with the proper channels. I am tired of hearing that they have passed on the LOA. I could have done that. I can understand long wait times when you have actual phone problems like cut fiber, but, to be your own worst problem is just bad. Someone needs to light a fire under their butts...
