Well, I thought I'd start contributing.
I have no issues with the fax in or out within the office or home environments. Apple computers though. ; ) Had services in both for well over a month.
The alarm system is with Voxcom, Cable Modem with Rogers, no problems - no phone lines. This is in the office and the home setups.
Working through the credit/debit issue in the office, everything is fine until the server (at Payment tech) grabs the request, then it just drops it. They are working on it. They have new tech machines coming out soon that will do it - they say. I ran a test on a really old (10 years) fax machine hooked up to Vonage, worked perfectly. I on site tech and I are going to play around on Monday. |

OK - today's update. It works! We had significant issues downloading the update (software) to the credit/debit device. However all transactions went through perfectly everytime.
Note: I have hooked this up to the free faxline (business package).
The company that provides the equipment here in Canada is Paymentech (at least the ones the office is using). They have stated that a new, up-to-date version of the system will be available in July.
I'll post any issues that arrize and solutions as they come up.
Note2: Fax alwasy worked directly out of the system.
All Apple computers OSX (Panther 10.3.9) for the Orthodontist office. Panther (10.4) will get a run in a month or two after I test everything.
Next is the multiline, multiphone - all wifi. ) |
