Had nothing to do with which port the phone was connected to ... it WAS into port 1. The problem was due to 2 updates that failed to take due to latency issues. Tech support was able to get into there and force the updates to go through and it worked perfectly.

I love the attitude that some people who think they are king of the world take ... and that is "It MUST be that because it worked for me!! So you must be wrong and didnt do what I said ... nothing else can go wrong that I do not know about." ... it is just a pathetic attitude. Anyway ... that is just MY 2 cents worth.

hey bud i've been having the same problem for four days now and i have no luck troubleshooting the damn thing. now if you got your problem fixed can you tell me what exactly happened and how did you get it fixed. thanks man.

Are you using the RT31P2? What is your firmware version when you access the setup page on your router? If still at the default, http://192.168.15.1

It is in the upper right corner. The new firmware version is 1.27.01

nuopus problem was fixed by this upgrade from how I read it. Either contact Vonage, or possibly this thread: http://www.vonage-forum.com/ftopic2928-0-asc-0.html
