Other Routers

I am about to try and get Vonage working with my ZyXel 2602HW and need some basic help, what are the settings for :

SIP Local Port –
SIP Server Address –
SIP Server Port –
REGISTER Server Address –
REGISTER Server Port –
SIP Service Domain -

I think you will be out of luck. Have a look at my recent post http://www.vonage-forum.com/sutra17937.html#17937. I wrote an email to Vonage regarding this and other issues and they said that no other equipment other than what is supplied could be used. I believe this to be bull**** form a technical standpoint as there is nothing the Linksys router does that no other SIP based router or device can't do. This is purely a Vonage thing that personally I think they have wrong.

Looks like I will cancel and move over to SIPGATE. PS - They will give you a choice of numbers !!!

Oh dear - also look at the post above - they now have you by the balls UNLESS you are still in the inital 14 day trail period - THEY WILL CHARGE YOU A FEE TO LEAVE.

Some people are saying that you MAY get this fee back once the router is returned. I would personaly return the router and phone the credit card company telling them to deny final payment. You can always send them a cheque for everything you own up less the disconnection charge.
